I’ve had both the 950 Adventure and now a 990S Adventure. The 950 ran great, but the best gas mileage I ever got was 38 mpg and got as low as 25 mpg. On the 990 I always get better than 40, almost always 45, and have even gotten 50 while riding with a bunch of cruisers. Posted December 18, 2008. i get 25-30mpg routinely in all my 2strokes, from 200-300cc. Can be even higher in tight trails where I'm rarely on the pipe.
