The download is only 26gb, so it isn't the full game. The free trial download for me was just 26gb. You could do some random exploring and killings and stuff at least to get a feel if your gonna like it or not. You can only play on the first island. Basically, training one.
But I must say that sadly Far Cry 6 PC optimization is beyond awful. It doesn't look better graphically than FC5 and I'd say it looks worse than FC4 (FC4 had better textures etc.) so I don't have a clue why it runs like crap on my PC, while the previous entries work without any stuttering etc. The mod also does wonders to the game FOV.
