Garmin fenix 5 plus repair. So I have been having this constat issue with the charging of the watch. I've had it since 2018. I really like it. I came from a Fenix 3HR. I just chatted with a rep and told her about the constant disconnecting of the watch even after cleaning the connectors. They are charging me $170 for the repair.

It's worn out time to get ride of it. I had that same issues with my 5X. I went out and got the 6X because of it. Now after 2 years my 6X is kinda finnicky when hooking it up to my pc to charge or connect it to Garmin Express. If it's not properly hooked up it won't be detected by Garmin Express. Hi everyone, I have just received new Fenix 5 Plus. When I opened the box (still sealed) I was quite unpleasantly surprised that the watch can't be turned on. After connecting to the charger, the charging screen appeared. Then after couple minutes of charging watch has finally turned on.

Bought Fenix 5 plus sapphire ti in Jan 2019. Around a year ago the charging port became problematic. Had to try all sorts of acrobatics to keep it charged. Watch works perfectly for about a year aside from this issue and a sticky lower right button. Wore it daily for trail runs, gym, surfing etc.
