Often your saves are stored in a folder of documents, which is separate from the game itself. Finally found my Rockstar Games pager at my parents' house (got it "free" with GTA2 on Playstation) DID IT FOR FUN, WASN'T EXPECTING FATHER TO BE LIKE THAT. I laughed out so hard😂😂. I remember when Mafia 2 came out the narrative on here was that it was gutted and the open world mostly empty. I still think it's got soul and a decent story.

The option to disable visual themes/aero by right-clicking GTA-vc.exe --> properties --> compatibility tab is absent in Windows 10. probably enabled classic controls (these are for controllers!).
